Who this policy covers
Piiman is operated by Kittichot Kamalapirat in Bangkok 10210, Thailand. This policy explains how Piiman processes information when you use the iPhone app, its share extension, and related services.
Information Piiman processes
- Account information. A private guest identifier is created so you can use Piiman without registering. If you protect your account, Piiman processes the email address or Apple or Google account information needed to authenticate you.
- Your cooking content. Saved recipes, source links, creator attribution, ingredients, instructions, images, notes, collections, tags, translations, nutrition details, import evidence, meal plans, shopping lists, and ingredient preferences.
- Import material. When you ask Piiman to import a recipe, the source URL and relevant text, images, audio, video evidence, or transcript may be processed to extract and verify the recipe.
- Purchase information. Apple and RevenueCat provide product, entitlement, transaction environment, renewal, and expiry information. Piiman does not receive your full payment-card details.
- Product analytics. Piiman records pseudonymous onboarding progress, categorical onboarding answers, feature use, subscription interactions, app version, and coarse device information. Product analytics start enabled and can be turned off in Settings.
- Reliability and security information. Privacy-filtered errors, operation names, app and build versions, service timing, rate-limit and quota activity, and security events.
How information is used
Piiman uses this information to import and organize recipes, build meal plans and shopping lists, provide cooking tools, synchronize and recover accounts, manage subscriptions, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and improve the product.
Piiman does not sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Analytics choices
Product analytics are enabled by default so Piiman can understand onboarding drop-off and feature use. You can stop future optional product analytics in Piiman Settings. This choice applies to optional analytics produced by the app and Piiman’s backend.
Minimal operational, security, quota, and reliability records remain active because they are needed to run and protect the service. These records are not used for advertising.
Service providers
Piiman uses providers only for defined service roles:
- Supabase for authentication and application data.
- Vercel for hosting and request delivery.
- OpenAI for recipe extraction, verification, translation, nutrition analysis, and recovery from supported images or audio.
- Supadata for supported social-video transcripts.
- Apple and Google for optional account authentication; Apple also processes App Store purchases.
- RevenueCat for subscription status and purchase restoration.
- PostHog for optional product analytics.
- Sentry and Axiom for privacy-filtered reliability, security, and operational diagnostics.
These providers may process information in countries other than yours under their contractual and technical safeguards.
Retention and deletion
Account content is retained while your account exists. Deleting your account removes its associated active-service data, including recipes, imports, meal plans, shopping lists, preferences, and subscription-access records.
Limited backups, purchase records, fraud and security records, and provider records may remain only as needed for recovery, legal obligations, security, or contractual purposes before aging out under controlled schedules. Piiman does not keep information simply because it may be useful someday.
Your choices and rights
You can use Piiman as a guest, turn off optional product analytics, change notification and system permissions, protect or sign out of your account, and permanently delete your account from Settings.
Depending on where you live, you may also ask to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete personal information. Email privacy@piiman.app. Piiman may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Children
Piiman is not directed to children under 13. If local law requires consent from a parent or guardian for a young person to use the service, that consent is required.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. For privacy questions, email privacy@piiman.app. For product help, email support@piiman.app.
